Everyday life has changed dramatically over the course of a few short weeks.

Schools are closed, public gatherings are banned, and more workers than ever before are dialing into video conferencing calls from the comfort of their sofas. Companies across the globe have had to adjust and create remote-work practices to help workers set up home offices in their living quarters.

While much of the news today is quite grim, perhaps the one silver lining in recruitment is that jobs can and are being done remotely. Many workers are starting to feel empowered to manage their own time and work when they’re at their most productive. As such, now is the time for recruiters to whole-heartedly embrace the world of remote working.

In this podcast, we spoke to Magda Sowierszenko,
Head of Communications at Remote-how, about how recruiters who are new to the world of remote work can build up their teams and keep them motivated and productive moving forward.

Key takeaways:

  • How to better stay connected to each other during remote working
  • How to optimize remote work for companies that are new to remote culture
  • How talent managers can build up their knowledge of remote culture to support new recruits and current employees
